Will you meet a dolphin soon?
To meet a dolphin up close, you don’t have to travel far at all. You can do that in your own country! With the interactive ‘In the water’ program you literally come face to face with these intelligent marine mammals. The caretaker, who knows our dolphins like no other, will tell you everything about how they live, what they eat and how they are cared for. Will you soon be stepping into the water with us in your waders?
The program is given to groups of a maximum of eight people, so that both the animals and the participants receive full attention. Before entering the water, you will receive instructions from the attendant and put on waders to keep your own clothes dry. The waders simply go over your own clothing. Swimwear is therefore not necessary!
Swimming with dolphins is not possible at the Dolfinarium. But precisely because you do not swim with the dolphins in the Dolfinarium, there is extra contact between humans and animals. You can touch the animals. In total you will be in the water with the dolphins for about twenty minutes; the full program takes about an hour.
No photos will be taken during the program. Spectators can take pictures from behind the glass wall. There is no special location reserved for taking photos. The glass may be less clear due to the salty water.
