Take a seat in the lecture hall and have a personal introduction to our California sea lions, in which you learn everything about the nature of this special species. Interactive, educational and surprising, get inspired!

Opening hours

  • In the first week of spring break, the park is open on Wednesday 14, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 February 2024 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • In the second week of spring break, the park is open from Mondag 19 until Sunday 25 February from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Presentation start times

At the entrance of the Dolfinarium you will receive the timetable of the various presentations.

Address, route & parking

You can find us at Zuiderzeeboulevard 22 in Harderwijk. The blue dome can be spotted from afar, but you can already plan your route from home here. The parking lot is a short 10 minute walk from the park.

A day out during spring break with your whole family? Come to the Dolfinarium and immerse yourself in the magical underwater world! Discover leaping dolphins, colossal walruses and roaring sea lions for a unique family day out.

Be amazed by the most beautiful animals of the sea and meet them in up to 8 beautiful presentations, including the new educational presentation with California sea lions in the Sea Lions College and the impressive dolphin presentation Oceanica. Or come face to face with dolphins and walruses at the glass wall in Onderodiezee. A wonderful day together in the spring sun with the emerging crocuses or just get a breath of fresh air!

Why are you coming to the Dolfinarium during spring break?

  • The Dolfinarium is a unique zoo, where you can admire special marine mammals such as dolphins, walruses, sea lions and seals up close. Do you dare to pet the sharks and rays?
  • New: the interactive presentation with our Californian sea lions in Sea lion College, where you are a student for a while and you learn about the physical and behavioral characteristics of this special animal species.
  • See dolphins, walruses, California sea lions and sharks & rays in 4 indoor locations. You are also very welcome in one of our warm restaurants!
  • During the spring break you can buy a cheap ticket of €18.50 p.p., compared to the price of a ticket in the summer. You therefore benefit from a €10.50 discount per ticket compared to the box office price (buy the ticket the day before your visit, because booking on the day of your visit is more expensive: a ticket costs €24.50 p.p.).
