Parking

Parking is available at P2: Lelykade and at P8: Zonneweide. We advise visitors to park at P2: Lelykade. This car park is closest to the entrance to the Dolfinarium. Please note that capacity here is limited.

Alternative during busy periods
Is P2 full? Then you can park at P8: Zonneweide.

  • There is plenty of parking space here
  • The walk to the entrance takes about 15 minutes
  • On busy days (such as weekends and public holidays), we run a free shuttle train between P8: Zonneweide and the Dolfinarium entrance.

Short-stay parking
Just in for a quick visit? Then you can use P6: Dolfinariumeiland (maximum 3 hours). Please note: after 3 hours, you cannot extend your stay immediately and must wait an hour before you can park again.

Parking rates
A day ticket costs €11.50 and is available from the parking machines or the Harderwijk council website.

Important to know

  • Parking tickets are not available at the Dolfinarium ticket offices
  • Pay at the machine using a debit card or coins, or use a parking app such as Yellowbrick or Parkmobile, or visit the Harderwijk council website.
  • Buy your parking ticket in advance to avoid queuing
Accessible Parking

Visitors with a disability who do not have an official disabled parking permit (GPK, ‘Blue Card’) can be dropped off at the entrance of the Dolfinarium. The car should then be parked on Lelykade (P2). The parking spaces at the boulevard are for short-term parking only (a maximum of three hours). The Dolfinarium has several parking spaces reserved next to the entrance for people with a disabled parking permit. To get there, cross the bridge to the Dolfinarium island and head towards Strekdam. Then turn left across the bus lane towards the main entrance. The parking spaces for people with disabilities can be found on the left-hand side.

Parking spaces for coaches

Those visiting the Dolfinarium by coach can get off at the Strekdam drop-off point. It will be a two-minute walk from here to the entrance of the park. The coach can then be parked free of charge at the municipal car park Flevoweg (P3).

If you want to get to know the park beforehand, please take a look at the map.
